He is the author of the bestselling American Fiddle Method, which has become a cornerstone for students of traditional fiddle styles. As the founder and frontman of the progressive acoustic band The Barley Jacks, Brian’s original compositions and lively performances have captivated audiences for years.
LIZ ASHWORTH Up-and-coming multi-instrumentalist phenom Liz Ashworth has taken the midwest bluegrass scene by storm. The depth of her musicality seems impossible for someone in their twenties. Although best known for her mandolin playing, she is equally stunning on fiddle and guitar and vocals. She performs as a duo in LaPlant Road, and is in demand as a sideman for many projects in the Twin Cities.
